Description: Cat Isolation Cleaners provide care and enrichment for cats, plus performs spot cleaning and deep cleaning of the cat cages and colony room in the Cat Isolation ward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Socialize and comfort the cats.
- Spot clean or deep clean cat cages and colony room as needed.
- Monitor eating, litter box habits and behavior in a daily log.
- Prepare dry and wet food diets and feed cats and kittens.
- Provide fresh water.
- Pass out toys and enrichment.
- Stock supplies.
- Clean and sanitize dishes and litter pans.
- Put dirty laundry in washer and dryer, fold and put away.
- Sweep and mop and remove trash at the end of each shift.
Time Commitment: 3- hour shift, once a week for a minimum of three months.
Qualifications:
- Must live in the greater Seattle area (including King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties).
- Must be able to practice safe animal handling.
- Must be able to work independently and be receptive to feedback from staff.
- Must be able to bend and lift.
- Will be exposed to cleaning agents.
