Description:
Customer Care Representatives (CCRs) are the main point of contact for PAWS general phone line. CCRs work from home answering the phones by logging into PAWS’ online telephone system on their personal computer and transferring calls to the correct department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls from internal and external customers, assess the reason for their call, then transfer them to the relevant departments/staff
- Maintain call log by providing detailed notes from each call
- Provide general information about PAWS’ programs and services
Qualifications:
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal direction
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Beginner proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Must exemplify the values of the organization in all interactions, including respect, trust, compassion, commitment, and kindness
- Personal computer with microphone and speaker capabilities
- Reliable internet access
- Email access
Time Commitment: Flexible; morning and afternoon shifts available.
Required Training: Online PAWS orientation, Two CCR training sessions, one hour each, which can be completed in-person or online.
