Duties: Each week more than 17,000 potential adopters look for pets on PAWS’ website. Animal Adoption Photography team members photograph animals available for adoption and update the website by uploading digital photos taken of the animals at PAWS.
Duties include: socializing, visiting, and comforting the animals; posting photos of animals for adoption on the website according to PAWS policies and procedures; editing and uploading photos from home or on a computer at PAWS; and cropping and adjusting pictures for optimal viewing.
Qualifications: Volunteers must have a working knowledge of digital photography along with basic computer skills. They must also practice safe animal handling per PAWS protocols.
