Event Support Volunteer
Duties:
- Representing PAWS at large fundraising events like PAWSwalk and Wild Night.
- Positions at events vary, but can include: Load In and Load Out, Registration, Set Up, General Support, Auction Spotters, Raffle Ticket Sellers, and more!
- Follow instructions given by Event Leads.
- May involve attendance at training sessions that take place prior to event.
- Assistant prior to and after the day of the event may be needed.
Time Commitment: Fundraising Events are held periodically throughout the year. Our largest events are PAWSwalk and Wild Night. PAWSwalk is held in late August or early September, and Wild Night is held in April.
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable and flexible under changing circumstances.
- Must have customer service skills and the ability to professionally represent PAWS policies when interacting with the public.
- Must be able to work independently and be receptive to feedback from staff.
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
