Duties: Duties include: socializing and comforting the animals; maintaining the database of available foster volunteers; caring for neonatal kittens and puppies; arranging for placement of animals into temporary foster homes; and organizing paperwork and supplies for kittens and puppies. sweeping and mopping.
This position has equal amounts of desk work, cleaning and animal contact
Qualifications: Foster Care Program Assistants must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently. The candidate must have completed the Cat Skills Class and ideally, Dog Skills too.
