Companion Animal Care
Campers get a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to care for animals responsibly. Campers will explore animal behavior, welfare, and enrichment while learning how shelters like PAWS support animals from intake through adoption. Through carefully curated activities and time with our animal care experts, campers will build skills in reading animal body language, creating enriching environments, and making thoughtful decisions that support both pets and people. They’ll leave with both practical knowledge and the confidence to use it.
Wildlife Coexistence
Campers to explore how humans and wildlife can share community spaces safely and responsibly. Campers will investigate how local wildlife adapts to urban environments, examine real-world human-wildlife conflicts, and learn practical strategies to support healthy ecosystems. Through interactive curriculum focused on natural science exploration, students will gain a deeper understanding of how everyday choices impact wildlife, and how they can be part of the solution.
