Meet Joni

When I started looking for a cat, I expected to spend a couple of weeks visiting different shelters until I found one I truly connected with. PAWS in Lynnwood was the first shelter I visited, and Joni was the first cat whose cage I peered into. When it was time to meet her, she immediately headbutted my hand, and I knew there was no way I could leave without her.

Joni is super vocal and not shy about speaking her mind. I can hear her meows through the door before I even put my key in the lock when I come home. She’s also obsessed with fuzzy worm toys and likes to carry them back to me in her mouth after catching one, looking very cute and very proud!
