Adopting an animal in foster:
If you are a foster parent wanting to adopt an animal in your care or the animal that you’re interested in meeting is currently in a foster home, start the process here:
- Fill out our cat or dog adoption survey online.
- Wait for a call from an adoption advisor within the next three days.
- If the foster animal seems like a good fit, staff will arrange the in-person visit and finalization with you.
Starting the PAWS adoption process online means filling out our cat or dog adoption survey, talking with an adoption advisor by phone within the next three days, and then coming into the Lynnwood or Seattle location for a visit.
Note: Online applications are for animals in foster care only. The adoption process for in-shelter animals must be done in person.
