Growing Up Wild 

Grade Level: K-5

Length of presentation: 40-50 minutes

Group size: up to 35 students

Description: What’s the difference between a wild animal and a “pet” animal? How are they different from us, and how are they similar? Students actively engage in discussions and in hands-on and movement activities.

Companion Animals are Cool

Grade Level: K-5

Group size: up to 35 students

Description: What do pets need, and what makes a responsible pet guardian? How do our cats and dogs communicate with us? We use role-playing and other engaging activities to talk about safety around stray animals and other pet-related topics.

PAWS Champions

Grade Level: K-5

Length of presentation: 45-60 minutes

Group size: up to 35 students

Description: Explore the wonderful world of animals! Students will learn about both the dogs and cats, as well as wildlife, that we share our world with and how we can help them. Your classroom will take action for animals through hands on activities and crafts.

Careers Helping Animals

Grade Level: 4th-5th grades

Length of presentation: 50-60 minutes

Group size: up to 35 students

Description: What is it like to work with animals? Students explore animal-centered careers, learning about exciting possibilities and the challenges involved. Videos and activities add to expert-led discussions.

Kids Who Care

Grade Level: 4th grade

Length of presentation: 6 classroom visits, 60 minutes each

Group size: up to 35 students

Description: Our signature program is a six-week classroom-based course and is interdisciplinary, providing opportunities for reading, journaling, critical thinking and problem solving. Lessons combine videos, hands-on activities, role-playing, discussion and presentation.
