Temporary Wildlife Admissions Specialist 

The Temporary Wildlife Admissions Specialist (20 hours/week, currently funded until December 1, 2020) will work with the Wildlife team to admit wildlife to the center in a timely and professional manner, and to ensure that members of the public receive proper attention and appropriate information when interacting with the wildlife department.

CAS Veterinary Medical Assistant

PAWS CAS Veterinary Medical Assistant (30 hours/week) is intended to provide for the medical care and comfort of animals at the shelter and to assist the Veterinarian during daily rounds and with general animal care.

Controller

The Controller oversees and coordinates all financial aspects of PAWS and drives the agency’s financial strategy. 

This position establishes and monitors financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.  The Controller ensures compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions.

Corporate Relations Officer

PAWS is a complex, dynamic organization celebrating 52 years of service and success. The Corporate Relations Officer is a member of PAWS development and marketing team and works closely with PAWS internal leadership team and the Board of Directors and other leadership volunteers as needed. The Corporate Relations Officer effectively communicates the needs and vision for PAWS, and is primarily responsible for revenue generation through effective development and management of sustainable relationships with corporate and foundation partners. The Corporate Relations Officer secures gifts, grants and sponsorships in support of PAWS programs and organizational priorities, including the capital campaign.

Animal Services Lead

The Animal Services Lead will perform advanced operational duties, including opening and closing, and act as staff lead when management is not available. Animal Services Leads also provide for the comfort and health care of animals at the shelter and assist the public and animal control officers in their transactions with PAWS.
