Director of Development

PAWS Director of Development is responsible for developing and achieving organization goals for contributed income activities including major gifts, planned giving, capital campaign, and the annual fund. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current donor cultivation and fundraising techniques; familiar with the local philanthropic community and its members; possess a demonstrated ability to connect with potential donors on a personal level; and be capable of expanding PAWS’ fundraising impact to the levels needed to meet PAWS’ strategic plans. As a member of the leadership team, this position works collaboratively with colleagues to effectively promote and advance the organization’s mission, vision and goals.

Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resource Generalist organizes and coordinates all aspects of PAWS’ Human Resource needs, is a point of contact for employees needing assistance with such functions and is the liaison to outsiders regarding them. The Human Resources Generalist works under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer and is expected to pursue the established duties without detailed supervision. They will work directly with managers and directors to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities related to HR policies.

Wildlife Naturalist- PAWS Wildlife Center

To function as a naturalist and wildlife biologist for the PAWS Wildlife Center. To effectively manage the wildlife release program, ensuring all animals are released in a timely, appropriate and safe manner in accordance with the species’ natural history and permit requirements of the Wildlife Center. The Naturalist works under the guidance of PAWS Wildlife Director and is expected to pursue the established duties without direct supervision.
