Director of Development

PAWS Director of Development is responsible for developing and achieving organization goals for contributed income activities including major gifts, planned giving, capital campaign, and the annual fund. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in current donor cultivation and fundraising techniques; familiar with the local philanthropic community and its members; possess a demonstrated ability to connect with major donors on a personal level, and be capable of expanding PAWS’ fundraising impact to the levels needed to meet PAWS’ strategic plans. As a member of the leadership team, this position reports to the CEO and works collaboratively with colleagues to effectively promote and advance the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.

Capital Campaign Director

PAWS seeks a dynamic Capital Campaign Director to provide staff leadership and guidance managing all day-to-day aspects of the capital campaign, including planning, operations, solicitation, and promotion, in coordination with the annual fundraising activities of the organization. This $30 million fundraising effort will support the construction of a new facility on a 25-acre campus to replace the organization’s current facilities. The campaign has raised $21 million to date and we anticipate completion within 2 years. The Campaign Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer and works closely with the development and marketing teams, and the Campaign Cabinet to carry out a successful fundraising plan targeting individual, corporate and foundation support.  
(This is a Limited Term Position based on Campaign Completion-approximately 2 years)

Corporate Giving Officer 

The Corporate Giving Officer is a member of PAWS fund development team and works closely with PAWS internal leadership team and the Board of Directors and other leadership volunteers as needed. The Corporate Giving Officer effectively communicates the needs and vision for PAWS, and is primarily responsible for revenue generation through effective development and management of sustainable relationships with corporate and foundation partners. The Corporate Gift Officer secures gifts, grants, and sponsorships in support of PAWS programs and organizational priorities.
