Wagner Center (formerly Frank Wagner Elementary School)
639 W Main St, Monroe, WA 98272 (between Kelsey St & Dickinson Rd)
Come witness and celebrate an amazing natural event occurring in our community - the arrival of the second largest roost of Vaux’s Swifts in America. Watch thousands of these birds swirl into a 4ft square chimney in minutes!
The spaghetti feed will start at 5pm, followed by a fun-filled lecture at 6.30pm. Swift experts will be on hand throughout the evening to answer your questions. There will also be information booths with birds, mementos, and more, as well as fun activities for kids and refreshments.
PAWS staff and volunteers will be at this exciting event, raising awareness of the role our Wildlife Center plays in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of wild birds and mammals from across Washington State.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy the show and support PAWS at the same time!
This event is organized by the Monroe Save Our Swifts project.
