PAWSwalk 2010 Success!

Thanks to our supporters and volunteers, PAWSwalk 2010 was a huge success! Here are some of the day's highlights:

• We raised $180,000, enabling us to care for thousands of homeless, orphaned and injured animals, and extend our outreach and education efforts even further.
• More than 1,200 people and 900 dogs strutted their stuff, including more than 150 dogs adopted from PAWS.
• It was perfect dog-walking weather – tongues were outbut it wasn't too hot on the paws.
• Presenting sponsor 98.9 FM KWJZ Smooth Jazz kept tails wagging while Seattle's Lee Callahan led the walk and emceed our fun contests.
• Sponsor booths were packed with goodies and good cheer. One walker was overheard saying, "This is the best dog event ever!"
