Prevent Unplanned Litters

If you or someone you know can't afford the full cost of a spay/neuter surgery, PAWS offers low-cost surgeries on Tuesdays for qualified low-income individuals.

Why spay and neuter your dog or cat?
As Michelle carefully approached the cat, she

• Accidents happen. Even if a dog or cat gets out just that one time, it only takes one time for a dog or cat to get pregnant. And it can happen again sooner than you might think. Don't risk it, prevent it with a spay/neuter surgery.
• Kittens as young as five months and puppies as young as six months can get pregnant. Each can have two to three litters per year, which is unhealthy for them.
• An unplanned litter means unexpected costs of care: more food, veterinary expenses, and lots of time. This is true for individuals who have pets, and for shelters or government agencies that care for unwanted pets. Don't add to this cost with an unplanned litter.

Call for an appointment or pass this on to someone you know. Cut out the chart below and post it at your place of worship, community center or favorite gathering place. Thank you!

• Appointments are required and are available year-round on Tuesdays.
• Special reduced price for cats and Pit Bulls.
• Microchips and vaccines are also available, but only with a spay or neuter surgery—not as a separate service.
• Located in Lynnwood, Washington, PAWS is approximately 20 miles north of Seattle.
