PAWSwalk a huge success!

The 17th annual PAWSwalk on September 6 was our most successful and fun walk to date! Last year's Top Dogs Mickey and Lucy led the way with grand marshal Penny LeGate for a beautiful stroll in the park. With more than 1,500 people taking part in the festivities (not to mention all those dogs), that's over 9,000 "paws" walking to support animals and raising more than $235,000!

Photo of PAWSwalk Event Participants had a blast on the agility course, snacked on tasty animal-friendly treats, shopped their tails off at more than 50 different sponsor booths, and left with a goodie-bag chock-full of samples after they "PAWSwalked" across the finish line.

PAWSwalk is fun for the whole family, two-legged and four-legged alike. Mark your calendars now for next year's event on September 12, 2009 and join us for another delightful celebration of the compassionate work PAWS does.
