A Few Special Thank You's To Our Friends

Photo of Riley.The employees at Nordstrom headquarters for coordinating another successful holiday gift drive, donating more than $3,656 worth of gift cards, food, toys and other essential supplies for the animals at PAWS.

Curtis Strain for helping us prepare for the unexpected by building special storage sheds for disaster preparedness supplies, and for donating a generator and an extension to the animal care shed at PAWS Wildlife Center.

The staff and customers of the 25 regional Pawn X-Change stores for donating food and toys during their holiday gift drive for the animals.

Trevor Schwartz, who coordinated a supply drive to help the animals in our care, as part of his Eagle Scout project. Trevor collected three van loads of supplies and more than $600 in donations.

Christopher Rich, Phyllis Harper, and Dirk Petersen for making generous gifts to purchase new surgical instruments, an IV fluid pump, an oxygen concentrator, two incubators, and a new exam table for our shelter and wildlife center.

Trader Joes, Green Lake World Wrapps and the Mukilteo Starbucks for donating delicious vegetarian treats and freshly brewed coffee to help us say "thank you" to our volunteers at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party.

John Dyvig, a Safeway employee, for purchasing and contributing 300 cans of cat food after being inspired by a visit to PAWS' cat room.

The employees at REI headquarters in Kent for coordinating a holiday gift basket auction, and raising $2,989 to support our life-saving work.

Marie Gruel and Lillian Schafer for knitting holiday stockings for dogs and cats, filling them with treats and toys, and selling them to co-workers to raise $1,006 for PAWS this winter.

Everyone who participated in the cat mascot contest at the Faces of the NW store in Edmonds, who helped raise more than $280 to help feed and care for the animals at PAWS.

Araceli Meagher-Reyes for inspiring her family and friends to help the animals at PAWS by collecting supplies and raising $630 in donations at her 8th birthday party!

Joe Chauncey and Karen Davis Smith of Boxwood, for donating their professional services and helping PAWS plan for our future.

The team at Boeing's K-9 Section for recruiting PAWS' graduate Jaxs into their training program, giving a new loving family and a new career to a formerly homeless pup.

We appreciate you!
