Dear Friends,
After what seemed like a long, dark, cold winter, here at PAWS' campus in Lynnwood the alder and hawthorn trees are now rapidly coming into leaf, and we are serenaded by songbirds from dawn to dusk. This can mean only one thing: that, ready or not, we will soon be inundated with a new generation of baby animals, many orphaned, others with their injured or sick parents. All will be in need of expert, loving care.
Every year PAWS cares for several thousand animals, and more than two-thirds are babies and juveniles. We invite you to help us help them this spring and summer by gathering family, friends or co-workers, and hosting a Baby Shower Gift Drive! A selection of the items we are in greatest need of are below, and you can find a complete wish list online at paws.org.
The orphans at our wildlife center need:
And the animals at our shelter need:
We look forward to the day when our companion animal guests are safely adopted into their forever homes, and the wild creatures returned to their natural habitats, healed and ready to live wild again. Until then, you have our deepest gratitude for partnering with us in this vital work.
Wishing you a wonderful spring,
