A Few Special Thank Yous To Our Friends

The staff and volunteers of St. Jude's Cat Rescue for their tremendous assistance in helping find loving homes for senior cats, and felines with medical needs.

Dr. Stephen Ball, and the staff and patients of Ball Chiropractic Center in Federal Way, for raising nearly $1,000 by offering discounted services to new patients and donating all the funds to PAWS. Steve Weaver and Robin Freedman for their years of dedicated service to the animals through serving on PAWS' Board of Directors. Volunteer Dr. Vivian Bennett for donating a brand-new front-loading washer and dryer to help us prepare clean and snuggly bedding for patients in PAWS' Spay and Neuter Clinic. The volunteers and donors who recently worked to repair the wildlife center's bear enclosures: Steve Hansen and Mike Miller at Allied Technical Services in Seattle, Brian Saks at Metal Supermarkets in Woodinville, and Robert Larson and Elizabeth Burch at StockPot, Inc. Patty Wilson of Adobe Systems, Inc. for enabling PAWS to work with world-class software, through generous discounts on the Adobe suite of applications. Jen Doak, along with her fearless family, friends and neighbors, who enjoyed a "dunk tank party" and barbecue this summer to raise money to help animals in PAWS' care. Howling Ridge Rescue for helping our special needs Great Dane, Cammi. The team at Great Harvest Bread Company in Lake Forest Park, and all their customers who purchased Frisbees and freshly baked dog biscuits during their Dog Days of Summer fundraiser in August. More than $200 was raised to help the animals! PAWS board members Melinda Williams, Michele Rose and John Rubino for hosting fun and fabulous house parties to increase awareness and raise funds to support our life-saving work. Superstar volunteer Susan Bocek on her 20th anniversary of volunteering in the cat room at our shelter. Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue for their ongoing assistance in placing many of our more challenging and special needs dogs. KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Anchor Penny LeGate for another wonderful year as PAWSwalk Grand Marshall and Master of Ceremonies. And three cheers to the participants, sponsors and friends of the First Annual Norm's Putt Putt Tournament for raising $1,361 for the animals this August. Special thanks to Steve Habecker, owner of Norm's Eatery and Alehouse in Fremont, for coordinating another creative, successful and fun fundraiser for PAWS!

We appreciate you!
