A few special thank yous to our friends

Boeing for the group of 37 volunteers who spent their April 19th Boeing Community Day of Caring at PAWS. Small teams completed a variety of needed projects including site maintenance, weeding of flowerbeds, lawn mowing, pressure washing and digging of trenches in the Wildlife backyard, and laying electrical conduit for the raptor cages and new volunteer building.

Albertson’s for arranging a “donation weekend” in May at their seven area stores to benefit PAWS. The stores encouraged customers to pick up an extra bag of food or other needed items for PAWS animals. Their generosity resulted in several pick-up trucks full of goodies.

Space City Mixers Singles Group for painting the cat isolation building and foster care room.

Mary Lou Calo for providing training classes pro bono for volunteers and staff on cat behavior.

Mary Jo Oxreider for conducting a wonderful training workshop for all PAWS staff.

The Seattle Foundation for a grant to support PAWS Cat City operations.

The Petsmart Foundation for a grant in support of our Spay/Neuter Clinic.

Anne Morency and Dave Mulleady of Mulleady’s Irish Pub, for a wonderful benefit evening that raised $2,600 in April for the PAWS Wildlife Raccoon cage project.

Tracey and Finbar Woods of Molly Maguires Irish Pub, for a wonderful benefit evening that raised $1,300 in December for the PAWS Wildlife Raccoon cage project.

Jon Fasthorse of Valhalla Construction who donated his construction expertise for our trenching project in Wildlife, helping lay 600’ of new sewer, water and electric lines for the new volunteer building and hillside caging.

Controlled Energy Corporation for the donation of two AquaStar gas point of service water heaters for the Wildlife Center, and for electric water heaters for the Shelter, Wildlife and Administration buildings.

Les Schwab Tire Center, Store #374, on Highway 99 in Lynnwood for the donation of a set of four used tires for the Wildlife Center release truck.

PAWS staff, volunteers and public who have raised and donated more than $10,000 for the wildlife raccoon cage project.

And to everyone who has helped PAWS in some special way. We could not do the work we do for the animals without your support!
