There are a variety of opportunities available for individuals who wish to gain valuable hands-on experience in the fields of companion animal sheltering, public affairs/community relations, wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary medicine. Companion Animal Shelter Medicine Externship - for veterinary students; assist the companion animal veterinarian in all aspects of companion animal medical care and spay/neuter surgeries.

Companion Animal Services Internships - assist with our work with homeless cats and dogs.

Public Affairs/Community Relations Internship - assist with communication, advocacy and outreach.

Wildlife Rehabilitation Internship - assist with caring for injured and orphaned wild animals.

Wildlife Medicine and Surgery Externship - for veterinary students; assist the wildlife veterinarian in all aspects of wildlife medical care.

Wildlife Veterinary Technician Externship - for veterinary technician students; assist the wildlife veterinary technician in all aspects of wildlife medical care.
