Position description: PAWSwalk is moving to a new home! This year we will be walking in support of animals at King County's Marymoor Park in Redmond. PAWSwalk is our largest fundraiser of the year to support the life-saving work we do for animals. With tons of animal-loving people and their adorable dogs, you're bound to have fun volunteering at this family event. You can choose from a variety of positions including helping set up or pack up, directing crowds, holding on to dogs, registering walkers, or cheering people on the route. It takes more than 150 volunteers to pull off this event so come join in the fun.
Dates Available: Early September
Shifts: On the day of the event, three to four-hour shifts ranging from 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some shifts available the day before the event to help set up.
Time commitment: One day, with a three to four-hour shift.
Location: Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA
Training required: Some PAWSwalk event positions require a two-hour training about a week before the event. Other positions are trained at the event.
