Rare September weather and a whole lotta heart helps thousands of animals

Not even the unusually sweltering Seattle weather could keep PAWS’ fans away from the 20th anniversary of PAWSwalk. Without a cloud in the sky and temperatures in the mid-80s, more than 1,250 friends of PAWS and close to 800 dogs joined together to help save the lives of thousands of animals. After hundreds of gallons of water and countless veggie dogs, this determined group made the 5k walk with one thing on their minds—caring for the animals at PAWS.

By the end of the walk, your passion for animals raised more than $170,000! Thank you to every donor, sponsor, volunteer, and especially the walkers for making the 20th anniversary of PAWSwalk such a joyful day for the animals!
