More than five hundred generous hearts gathered at the Sheraton Hotel in Seattle on April 9 to help PAWS save animals. It was an emotional evening as guests listened to PAWS volunteer Noeleen Stewart share her experiences as a volunteer in the wildlife center. Stewart fought back her tears as she described the experience of caring for a wild animal with her own hands. If there were any dry eyes left, they disappeared as the audience was presented a moving video essay of PAWS' mission.

Local radio personality and emcee Marty Riemer graciously entertained guests for the rest of the evening, while auctioneer Laura Michalek led the crowd through a record-breaking auction. Thanks to the caring and compassion of this year's guests, PAWS raised more than $350,000.
