Wild Night: A Gala Celebration for PAWS

PAWS' annual gala and auction was once again a rousing success with close to 500 enthusiastic supporters coming together to raise more than $285,000. This year, there were a few new and exciting opportunities for guests to enjoy the evening, including a Wine Grab and a "Buy It Now" board where guests could instantly purchase gift certificates from local businesses.

Generous animal lovers raised their bid cards high during the Fund-a-Need portion of the acution to raise $62,400 toward the comfort and care of the animals at PAWS. It was truly inspiring to witness such compassion. Thank you to everyone who made Wild Night a success. Please join us next year—March 27, 2010!

Meet Tomorrow's Compassionate Leaders

This year two young people were recipients of PAWS fourth annual Youth Helping Animals Award.

The accomplishments, poise and grace of 10-year-old Rebekah Hoopengarner and 14-year-old Andrew Hopkins inspired everyone in attendance. PAWS is proud to honor these compassionate and dynamic leaders of tomorrow. Read more about the extraordinary achievements of these two young stars.
