A Few Special Thank Yous To Our Friends

Bird photoEveryone who helped us remodel our shelter lobby to better serve animals and people, including Carpets to Go for donating vinyl flooring, The Beresford Company for donating the hallway carpeting, Dave Jodrey who donated his professional services to install our new floors, and Doorman Commercial for installing two new doors for the price of one.

To each of our more than 50 volunteers who gave their time and energy to make Wild Night such an huge success!

Photographer and PAWS volunteer Dawn Freeman of Pawprints Photography for donating beautiful new photos of cats and kittens adopted from PAWS to decorate Cat City and the main shelter cat room.

April Reiger and her co-workers at Delta Dental, for organizing a successful gift drive for the animals this spring. Through this drive, more than $3,200 in cash and in-kind donations was raised for the animals at PAWS.

Kelly Helmick, DVM and the Woodland Park Zoo animal health staff, as well as veterinary surgeons Russell Patterson, VMD and Russell Bennett, DVM of Animal Surgical Clinic of Seattle, for donating a surgery room, equipment, skills and expertise to perform surgery on a Black Bear brought to PAWS with a fractured hip.

Penny LeGate of KIRO 7 Eyewitness News for leading our guests to success at another wonderful Wild Night.

Lake Washington Technical Academy students Connor Richardson and James Guberlet for hosting a donation drive for the animals at their local grocery store.

Shelter partners Everett Animal Services, Homeward Pet Adoption Center, The NOAH Center, Humane Society of Skagit Valley and the Whidbey Animals' Improvement Foundation, and 29 other local veterinary clinics that together with PAWS spayed and neutered 270 cats and dogs during our annual Spay Day event.
