Bake Sale for PAWS

Students from Alderwood and Meadowdale Middle Schools in Edmonds recently made a rather “sweet” donation to PAWS. The students are part of the C US LEAD program that promotes leadership and service.

This year, the students baked more than 1,000 tasty treats to sell during their lunch hour. In just three days, the students sold every morsel, raising $962.75 for the animals at PAWS!

Amazingly, they didn’t stop there. The students also collected dozens of towels, blankets and sheets for the PAWS Companion Animal Shelter. Not wanting the dogs to feel left out from the treat-fest, they also baked 100 dog treats.

Thank you to the students at Meadowdale Middle School!
