PAWS Lifetime Care Service for Your Dog or Cat

What is lifetime care?

Most of us expect to outlive our animal companions, but what if due to medical incapacity or death, we are no longer able to care for them? Our pets have given us so much. Preparing for their safety and security in the event of our absence is a final and significant act of lifelong friendship. The best choice is to place your animal with a family member or friend who is already familiar with her, but PAWS is also happy to help you plan for her welfare should she outlive you.

PAWS will see that your companion is placed in care while we find the best and most appropriate new home. In return, we ask that you arrange for a meaningful financial gift toward the care of animals who are helped by PAWS. Funds will first be used to care for your dog or cat, and then to care for others in need.

Contact us first

If you are considering PAWS Lifetime Care Service as part of your planning, please contact us right away, as it requires enrollment. Also this program is only available for cats and dogs, and they must reside in Washington State. If you live outside the greater Seattle area, you will need to arrange transport to PAWS.
