PAWS’ workshops provide an interactive and fun learning experience for kids on PAWS’ campus, located in Lynnwood, Washington. Students learn about the animals in our care, as well as how to be responsible with the animals in their community.

Description: This workshop emphasizes an appreciation of cats and dogs and an understanding of pet behavior and body language. It also highlights the effectiveness of positive reinforcement training and dog safety. Activities include interactive games, crafts, and an opportunity to visit with one of our adoptable cats or dogs. Refreshments and snacks included.

Description: This workshop emphasizes an appreciation of Washington wildlife and ways to help wildlife. Activities include, interactive games, crafts, nature trail walk on PAWS’ campus (weather permitting), and an opportunity to handle animal artifacts (e.g. owl wings, hawk talon). Refreshments and snacks included.
