Puppies & Kittens

PAWS frequently has kittens and puppies available for adoption. Since they tend to get adopted very quickly, we do not usually post their individual photos and information on our website. Instead, PAWS asks potential adopters to check the shelter in Lynnwood and PAWS Cat City in Seattle to find out if puppies or kittens are available.

Kittens

Kittens are available for adoption most often during “kitten season,” which typically runs from June or July through December, and most of them will be found playing in the rooms at PAWS Cat City in Seattle.

Kittens come in many ages, sizes and breeds or mixes. Since they eventually grow up into active and beautiful adult cats, PAWS would like to help you select the right one for your home. Please read the fact sheets about kittens in our Resource Library.

We also encourage you to consider adopting two kittens at once, or an adult cat with a kitten. Kittens are very active and will benefit from having a playmate to help teach them the skills that will make them a well adjusted member of your family.

Puppies

There is no particular peak season for puppies although there may be a slight increase in their availability during the spring and summer. Just like kittens, puppies come in many ages, sizes and breeds or mixes.

Since they eventually grow up into active and beautiful adult dogs, PAWS would like to help you select the right one for your home. Please read the fact sheets about puppies in our Resource Library, and learn more specifically about adopting a Pit Bull puppy into your home.
