PAWS

Unknown Name

About 2 yrs ago, my husband and I found a very large dog running loose in a gift shop/nursery in Lynnwood. They had the doors open for fresh air and this poor dog was scared and hungry and running crazy. He would run back outside and kept heading towards the very busy 196th St. traffic so we knew we had to save this dog!

We were finally able to coax him with food, (an employee at the nursery gave him her entire lunch!) and got him into the back of our SUV. We drove him to PAWS!

We were thrilled to find out that his owner had been in just hours earlier to fill out a lost dog report and they would be reunited! We also found out that this man and his dog were simply visiting family in the Edmonds area and he was due to leave town again the next day. He lived several hours away! His dog had escaped out of a fenced backyard and somehow made it from Edmonds to Lynnwood! If it hadn't been for PAWS, these two may have never been united again!
