After getting "Jonah" from Cat City in December of 2003, I immediately renamed her "Shauti" which means peace, but that name didn't really fit so she finally became "Shakti Girl" which means divine energy. It fits.

After exploring her new home Shakti immediately settled in. She loves to sit on the refrigerator which lets her look out a window (she also has other window perches). She's a talker as the one picture shows. She greets me everytime I come home and she's a wonderful companion.

Shakti's started sleeping on the bed with me the very first night in her new home, much to my delight. She's a sweet, gentle, loving cat. Thank you!
