Adopting Shadow has been the best thing to happen to my husband and I in a very long time. He is just the sweetest, most affectionate playful dog, and very well behaved. He is INDEED a "Shadow" . . .he follows Mama closely wherever she goes! No matter how many times I go up and down the stairs, he wants to be near. Anytime we have to be apart he is so happy to see us when we return.

As we were moving things out of the apartment, he would run to the balcony to watch us load the car. As we came back up stairs to get more things, he would race across the living room to meet us at the door. We must have repeated this trip over a hundred times, and he did the same thing every time!

He tries to protect us, and barks, anytime he hears an unfamiliar noise in the house. He loves playing with his squeaky toy Milk Bone, and he likes to play fetch. He also likes to stand by me in the kitchen while I cook, waiting for that lucky moment when a bit of something edible may accidentally drop onto the floor. :)

When we first adopted him in March of 2007, we lived in an apartment in Mukilteo. We have since moved to our new home in Mill Creek. Shadow still loves getting pets & rubs, and taking naps cuddled on the couch with me, my husband, or both of us. He even has his own page on Facebook...ehhh correction - Dogbook! We just wanted you all to know that he is doing fine.
