I am writing to give you an update on one of your success stories. Last September we adopted one of your charges by the name of Jackson. He is a black lab/border collie mix and was a year old at the time.

From the very beginning he seemed to fit right in with our family. He jumped into the car when we left your facility and never looked back. I am retired and my wife is semi-retired so we have a lot of time to spend with him. He is my constant companion and buddy. He enjoys sitting on the floor with me and watching television in the evening. He has a large yard and several other dogs in the neighborhood to socialize with.

Like all labs, he love to retrieve a ball and we are working on giving up the ball when he retrieves it. I plan to take him fishing with me next summer when the weather is warmer (for my benefit, not Jack's). He also likes to ride in the car and I take him most everywhere I go.

He is the joy of our home and we both delight in him. There seems to be little doubt that we are his people. He comes to see what we are doing and check on us all the time. Both my wife and I would like to thank you folks on the behalf of Jack and all his friends for the work you are doing.
