GiveBIG is a one-day, online giving event which inspires people to give generously to non-profit organizations that make our region a better place to live.
Make your gift to PAWS stretch even further by donating online on Tuesday, May 6, 2014!
Here’s how it works, in two simple steps:
That’s it! Every donation made to the non-profit organizations profiled on The Seattle Foundation’s website between midnight and midnight (Pacific Time) will receive a pro-rated portion of the matching funds (or “stretch”) pool. The amount of the “stretch” will depend on the size of the stretch pool and how much is raised in total donations on GiveBIG day.
Gifts made to PAWS through GiveBIG are fully tax-deductible. Please note, only gifts made on The Seattle Foundation’s website on May 6 are eligible for GiveBIG matching funds.
If you have any questions about GiveBIG, please do not hesitate to e-mail email@example.com or call 425.412.4024. Current Fundholders at The Seattle Foundation are encouraged to participate in GiveBIG, yet only donations made by credit card on the GiveBIG website on May 6, 2014 will be eligible for the stretch pool.
Join us on Saturday, May 17 for the first annual Pet Safety Day!
This free, fun and interactive event, sponsored by Northpointe Animal Hospital, will give dog and cat owners across Snohomish and King Counties practical advice and solutions for keeping their animals safe.
Alongside demonstrations in cat leash training, and instructions on how to set up humane traps to help reunite lost cats with their families, animal guardians will be able to get their cats and dogs microchipped at a low cost, purchase an identification tag to help get them reunited should they become lost, and buy a city pet license. There will be lots of information to take away on themes of animal safety, as well as animal care professionals on hand to answer questions.
The PAWS Pet Safety Day is free and open to the public and will be held at PAWS’ main campus in Lynnwood. For more information, please call 425-787-2500 x801. Visit our Hours & Directions page for location info.
We hope you’ll join us!
