How to Contact Your Elected Officials

While PAWS has a strong voice in advocating for animals, your elected officials really want to hear from you. They make decisions based on what their constituents communicate to them. It's important to tell your elected officials that protecting animals matters to you.

If you live in Washington State:

Find your state district and legislators. This tool will also give you your federal district, and U.S. senators and representatives.
See a list of e-mail addresses for the Washington State Legislature.
Search for your city or county council at the Municipal Research and Services Center of Washington's website.
Find contact information for Washington State's governor.

If you do not live in Washington State:

Find your state legislature's contact information on the Humane Society of the United States' website.
Visit the National Governors Association website to find your governor. Information about the National Governors Association can be found here.

Federal legislators

Find your U.S. senators at Senate.gov.
Find your U.S. representatives House.gov.
