Information on video players

You will need the free RealPlayer software program to view these videos. You can download it here. Some of these videos were encoded with RealVideo 9 (higher quality and lower file size) and will need the latest version of the free RealPlayer to view.

Please be aware that there is also a version of RealPlayer that can be purchased (with a 14 day free trial), but the completely free version is all that's required to view PAWS videos. Look for the words "Free RealPlayer" in the upper right-hand corner.

Download RealPlayer

The videos will automatically adjust their quality according to your internet connection speed.

If you don't want to use Real's Player an open-source program called Media Player Classic is also available via SourceForge. It should play the videos without the peripheral files and programs that Real installs. PAWS makes no guarantee of compatibility and advises that you read the support documents before you attempt to install a new program.

PAWS is also beginning the process of offering videos in Windows Media format. Please be patient as we go through the process of recoding older videos. Due to the larger file sizes involved, PAWS is unlikely to offer Quicktime versions anytime soon.
