KING SIZED March in Miami

Last month, TV personality Bob Barker led the March on Monkey Jungle, a rally to bring attention to our effort to move King, a solitary gorilla living in a Miami roadside zoo, to world-class Zoo Atlanta. In Atlanta, King would live with other gorillas and be treated to a life more befitting his name. Two hundred and fifty people attended the march which was sponsored by PAWS and ARFF (Animal Rights Foundation of Florida). Said Barker, "It is outrageous that Monkey Jungle refuses this opportunity to improve King’s life. King has suffered long enough. He deserves to go to Zoo Atlanta and he deserves to go now."
