And Bosley's Makes Twelve...

Great news for folks who live in Shoreline, Capitol Hill, Canyon Park and Greenwood: PAWS cats are in those very neighborhoods at Bosley’s Pet Food Mart! In July of 1997, Bosley’s Shoreline came on board with a great enthusiasm about helping homeless animals. Since then, three more Bosley’s locations were added, pushing the offsite adoption participants number up to twelve.

Melissa and Erica of Bosley’s Shoreline express their feelings about being a part of the Adoption Partnership Program in this way: "Being a part of the PAWS Offsite Program is heart wrenching yet at the same time, very rewarding. From the words of James Herriot, ‘I wish people would realize that animals are totally dependent on us, helpless, like children, a trust that is put upon us.’ Knowing we are giving these innocent animals a second chance at life is the greatest feeling of all."

Erica Roberson of the Shoreline Bosley’s holds Nana, one of their PAWS cats. Nana has the roam of the store and is able to interact with a variety of people coming into the store. To date Bosley’s has adopted out 75 cats through their four stores. Thank you Bosley’s for your partnership efforts!

A special thanks goes to Thomas Bates, Bosley’s Merchandising Manager, for playing an active role in helping Bosley’s become part of the solution to help cats find great homes. According to Bates, "The experience Bosley’s has had with this program has enriched us personally as well as professionally."
