Circus comes to Everett!

Here's what we need from you:
Volunteer to help educate people about the circus! PAWS will be at each performance handing our educational flyers and circus toys for kids. There are lots of fun ways to get involved- dress up like a circus clown, take part in a silent vigil, hold a sign, answer questions- whatever you like! For information please email Mary Schilder, marys@paws.org.

Click here for complete information on our current focus, recent animal deaths at Ringling and to phone, email, or write letters to those who can help ensure cruelty does not become a part of our community.

In the past few years the actions of circuses such as Ringling have led us to step up our efforts against them. These community efforts have resulted in such steep declines in attendance that Ringling is no longer able to book venues in Seattle, Tacoma or Redmond, which has outright outlawed exotic animal acts. Ringling has now chosen to focus on more rural, and they hope less aware, populations like Everett.

PAWS has a long history of bringing light to the plight of wild animals forced to perform unnatural acts and spend their lives in confinement. The voice of volunteers like you has been instrumental in the past and we think your combined voice can be even stronger in the future- call, write, or show up and help make this visit Ringling's last!
