Vegfest 2003 is this weekend! Don’t miss it!
This Saturday and Sunday, March 22 and 23, Vegetarians of Washington will present Vegfest 2003, a healthy vegetarian food festival, at the Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This healthy vegetarian food festival is a great way to help people to discover the many benefits of a vegetarian diet. This year's event is even larger than last years, with more chefs, more books and much more food to sample. There will be free food samples from over 75 companies and cooking demonstrations by chefs from all over the country. In addition, the latest information regarding nutrition and a large selection of books about vegetarian cooking and diet will be available to choose from.

The first 500 attendees will also receive a free gift. Admission is $5 for adults and kids 12 and under can get in for free.

Help! Vegfest needs more volunteers!
Because this year's event is larger than last year, Vegfest needs more volunteers!

If you can volunteer for 4 hours during the weekend of March 22nd - 23rd, you'll receive a free Vegfest T-shirt and free admission to the event!

Many people have already signed up to volunteer, but we need lots more. We have opportunities for food demonstrating (serving samples), cashiers, greeters and we are especially looking for volunteers on Sunday. We also need people to help us set up the event on Friday March 21st and to pack everything up on Sunday evening. To sign up as a volunteer, please go to www.vegofwa.org/vegfest/volunteer.html as soon as possible and complete the volunteer form so that we know the best times to schedule you for.

This volunteer event will be fun and a great way to meet other vegetarians! Bring your friends to help too!

PAWS is a proud co-sponsor of Vegfest 2003.
